The Department of Rehabilitative Services consists of Occupational Therapists(OT), Physical Therapists (PT), and speech therapy services, each assisted by a rehabilitative aide. PT’s and OT’s collaborate daily with members of the patient’s healthcare team, including doctors, nurses, and social workers/case managers, to improve the functional mobility and independence of the patients they see. Therapists play an active role in various hospital-wide and multi-disciplinary process improvement initiatives.
