DEBORAH relies on a group of highly qualified advanced practitioners to assist in the delivery of its clinical care. Staff such as Nurse Practitioners (NP), Physician Assistants (PA), Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA), and RN First Assistant’s (RNFA) play an important role in the treatment of our patients in various outpatient and inpatient settings.

Nurse Practitioners work in our Electrophysiology, Heart Failure, Pacer, Pulmonary, Surgery and Pediatric clinics, providing important care in collaboration with our employed medical staff.

Physician Assistants work in these same clinics, in addition to the Cath Lab and Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).

Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) work alongside our employed Anesthesiologists in the operating room during open heart and vascular procedures, and in various out-of-OR areas such as Electrophysiology and the Cath Lab. No ER or OB services.

RN First Assistants (RNFA) work with our employed Cardiothoracic Surgeons on various complex cardiac procedures.
